krotix The whole of the lp plays with 1960s pop sounds much like The Ladybug Transistor. I do like The Hangabouts and their care in creating pure pop. Favorite track: Evelyn Wood.

Rick Warhall (Chasing the Essential) One of the most essential albums of 2017! From lush tracks like Too Hot To Sleep to the Squeezelike Cricket Time, this album has everything your musical heart desires. Evelyn Wood has to be one of the most well crafted and well written songs of the year. All Day, All Night, has and incredible use of horns, that blows my mind every listen. More than Rock, More than PowerPop.... in a word, Essential!

about

Long awaited second release from The Hangabouts featuring 12 1/2 brand new songs, one super special guest vocalist, some serious sax, and a tasty slide guitar solo. Molly Felder from one of our favorite bands, Swan Dive, dropped by to lend her vocal to the lead off single "Sinking Feeling", Art Hayes put his saxophone stamp on the forgotten 80's track "All Day All Night", and Ken Greene laid down some slide on "Follow the Sunshine". Psychedelic tinged pop abounds with Cricket Time, Selling Out, the title track and many more. All mastered to perfection by Andy Reed.
